Peace, Not Anxiety
“Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.”
Philippians 4:6
Notice the antidote to anxiety here isn't "try to relax." It's prayer — handing the thing you're gripping over to God, with thanksgiving.
Name the thing you're anxious about. Say it to God out loud. Then thank Him for one way He's been faithful before. Peace tends to follow gratitude.
Prayer
God, here is what's weighing on me. I give it to You, and I thank You for Your faithfulness.
