Chosen in the Shadows

The world keeps a scoreboard of who matters — looks, credentials, who you know — and most of us have felt overlooked by it. As we open "The Story of David," we find that God doesn't measure by outward appearance; He looks at the heart, and He loves to build His plans with unlikely people. The son nobody even thought to invite in from the field is the one God chooses and anoints as king. So stop disqualifying yourself, and give God what He's really after: a surrendered heart.
