Kids Grove is Reopening!

We are so excited to announce that we will be reopening Kids Grove, beginning July 12th!! We have missed all of our kids and families over the past four months but we can't wait to see you all very soon!!

Here is everything that you need to know about how we will reopen Kids Grove:

Kids Grove is an important part of the mission at Church of the Grove. During this unique time, we have partnered with families to provide Kids Grove online. We hope this has been a valuable experience for your family. We will continue to offer this for your families, but we are excited to offer in-person Kids Grove services beginning July 12th. We will provide the same fun experience but just like with our large group gatherings, it has been redesigned. Below you will find our redesigned plan for Kids Grove. Our priorities as we have moved into this phase are focused on your child’s SAFETY as well has how we will SANITIZE and disinfect our spaces.
SAFETY

• Expect a touch-less check-in. We will have leaders who will meet you at the kiosks stations and ask for your phone numbers. They will hand your family a tag. While in line, please practice social distancing.
• All servant leaders and children participating in Kids Grove will have their temperature taken during the first phase of our reopening at check-in.
• We ask only one parent to drop off their child in the classroom so we can limit hallway traffic.
• We will sanitize your child’s hands coming in the room, during their time in Kids Grove and when they leave.
• You’ll see lots of big waves and air high fives, but we will avoid hugs and handshakes.
• No snacks will be provided.
• Shoe coverings will be worn in our Baby and Toddler environments

SANITZE

• We have increased hygiene and cleaning protocols in our Kids Grove spaces during and between services.
• Additional hand-sanitizing stations will be available at check-in, in the hallways and in the rooms.
• All toys and hard surfaces will be sanitized before and after every service. Each service will have their own designated toys as well.

• We will provide wipes and diapers. We will have cubbies in the hallway that diaper bags or other personal items can be left in if your child will need them during their time in Kids Grove.

Of course, please do not send your child to Kids Grove if they have experienced a fever in the last 14 days, shows any symptoms of COVID-19, or has been around anyone who has tested positive for COVID-19.

This is a very new season for all of us and we will do our best in providing environments that you will feel comfortable bringing your children to. Please remain flexible with us as we move forward, and we will continue to keep you updated of any changes. We also understand that as a family you still may not be comfortable with your children returning to Kids Grove. We will still provide Kids Grove resources online at www.churchatthegrove.com/Kidsgroveonline.
