Weekly Update 5/5/2021
DID YOU MISS THIS PAST SUNDAY?
In our American culture, divorce has become a common theme in most families. We all have seen first hand the destruction that divorce causes in the lives of the married couple, children, and other friends and family members. And while religious people have tried to stand up for the “sanctity of marriage” divorce still continues to plague our families.
As we looked in scripture this past Sunday we saw that God hates divorce and that the marriage vows should be taken seriously and sacredly. Marriage was created by the Lord and is ultimately a picture of Christ’s relationship with his bride, the Church. Marriage is not a fairy tale. It is hard work. But it is worthwhile work.
